Dr. Goldberg is a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Gynecological Surgery.
	The Coffee Women's Center offers management of pregnancy, preventative medical services as well as treatment for specific gynecological problems.
	Your initial visit with the doctor will include a consultation, physical exam, PAP Smear and possibly urinalysis, and basic bloodwork. We can screen for anemia, liver and kidney dysfunction, diabetes, cholesterol, and colon cancer. Additional lab tests that can be performed include thyroid and female hormone levels, premarital testing, HIV, etc.
	Dr. Goldberg is eligible for Board Certification by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Goldberg is very skilled in a variety of Gynecological Surgeries. He has a special interest in Laparoscopy and in surgery for the correction of urinary incontinence. Surgeries are performed at Coffee Regional Medical Center, and at Dorminy Medical Center. Some of the surgical procedures he performs include:

Repair of Vaginal Wall Prolapse

Burch Procedure for Urinary Incontinence

	All patients are seen by appointment only. Please call our office between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. in order to schedule your appointment. Coffee Women's Center provides easy access to Coffee Regional Medical Center, and our Fitzgerald location is convieniently close to Dorminy Medical Center. If you are unable to keep an appointment. please give us at least 24 hours notice so that we may give that time to another patient.
	Please feel free to call our office during regular hours for health care concerns, problems, or prescription refills. Always have a pharmacy phone number available if a prescription is needed. All calls will be handled on the basis of urgency. In many cases the nurse can handle your call, but if you need to speak with the doctor your call will be returned at lunchtime or at the end of office hours in the afternoon. After hours phone calls, for emergencies, should be directed to Coffee Regional Medical Center at 384-1900 or to 911.
	Payment is required at the time of service rendered. We accept cash and personal checks. If you are on an HMO, PPO, or Insurance company that we are a provider for we will file your insurance for you. Be prepared to pay any co-payment or deductible at the time of your visit.
